food tips: you can head out to the cooler in your car for an affordable picnic, but if you want to stay in the park, here are some tips:
a. the all-you-can eat buffet towards roller coaster alley is only $14/person and includes drinks!
b. lindy’s restaurant is reasonably priced ($14 burgers, great salads, $8 kids meals) and very nicely prepared food. the garlic parmesan fries are AMAZING
c. eat lunch a little late (1-2pm), and for dinner, just get the ice cream! $6.50 for 5 scoops, or $3 for kids/2 large scoops!

I love how many different options Silverwood has!
Renting a cabana is a great way to get away from the crowd if needed! In addition a great place for the family to meet up for lunch or just to check in on the fun.
Hit the water park last. Bring coolers with cold lunch to leave in the car and save some money!
Going to Silverwood was one of the funnest weeks of my families life.
We love silverwood
I love going to Silverwood with my kids. For our lunch, I pack a cooler and leave it in the car. At lunchtime, we leave the park, go get our cooler, and find a nice cool, quiet spot on the grass between the parking lot and RV park, and spread out a blanket and have a peaceful picnic. We talk about who did what and then plan our evening of rides. It’s a good break from all the stimulation. And since we had this habit, one time when I let my 10 yr. old daughter go on rides with a group of people we knew, before lunch, she unknowingly got left behind in the bathroom, just before they headed to the lunch spot. Since she did not have cell phone, she couldn’t call me! But she found an employee who walked her all the way out to the parking lot, because my daughter knew we would be at the grassy spot for lunch. Praise God!

My favorite tips and tricks to visiting Silverwood are to make sure that you always get a locker to secure your stuff, make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and definitely ride Thunder Canyon several times when you need to cool down.

Renting a cabana is the way to go!! Shade, personalized service, cool, comfortable seating, and bonus floaties! Well worth the purchase!!
My favorite trick is do roller coasters while everyone is at waterpark and then head over to waterpark have fun until it closes and then grab dinner and magic show.
We always do Silverwood in two days, one for the park and one for the water! That way there is no rushing and twice the fun:)

We always like to start off by going to boulder beach first then hit up all the rides. We always like to ride the train that’s where we learn of the new rides and additions that will be coming in the future.

Beginning of June my brother graduated high school but he lives in moses lake so I was going to go over and pick him up and bring him back this way for a day full of silverwood!! However, I ran into car troubles, leaving me not being able to travel, and also low on funds!! I have taken care of my car troubles, but still low on funds from that, this would be PERFECT for me to make up his graduation gift for him seeing as I can’t afford it right now. I’ve gone to silverwood every single year since I was about 5!! Every summer it was a family tradition. One that will always remain!!

Since I’ve been to silverwood we would go to the front entrance to give us a stamp so we can come back after taking lunch. The thing i remember were the ice cream store they have their it was so yummy definitely want to come back!!

Our Silverwood tip – Go to Boulder Beach early enough in the day that you can just walk around in the sun to dry off. Then you don’t have to pack & carry towels!

Always get a locker, do Boulder beach first, then the coasters, land at the magic show to cool off mid-day, eat pizza, then back to the rides, hit the coffee shop on your way out to unwind with a drink & treat. Reflect on the wonderful day you had. There is NEVER a bad day at Silverwood!

Tips and tricks: get there early! Use sunscreen! Try to wear clothes with pockets that button or zip, so you can keep important ID or bank cards on you without fear on the roller coasters!

Spent Mother’s Day 2019 with 2 of my 3 sons at Silverwood! It was my youngest sons first time there, and he had a blast!! Very much looking forward to coming back when Boulder Beach opens!! We have been visiting Silverwood almost every year since our very first visit in the 90’s!! We even brought our wedding party out for the day as a “Thank You” for being a part of our special day.
