Let’s face it: This is 2025 , and social media has become an integral part of most of our lives. Sharing our experiences online helps us stay connected with friends and family. I sometimes post my experiences just so that they will come up as fun memories for me to look back on in the future. So today, I want to share with you my top 10 captions for a fun-filled day at Silverwood.

“Fear is a temporary feeling, but the memories of riding a coaster will last a lifetime” This year, my youngest son faced his fear and rode Stunt Pilot for the first time. He really wanted to conquer his fear last year, but just couldn’t get himself to do it. But this summer he committed himself to riding the coaster even before we got to the park. And guess what? He loved it!

“Silverwood: The perfect place to forget all of your worries and just have fun!” We absolutely love this theme park. The memories that we make as a family will last a lifetime. You really do feel like a kid again when you go to a theme park. So, eat the funnel cake, drink the slushies, and embrace that inner child of yours. Hey, that last line could be a caption too!

“Boulder Beach: Where the fun never ends and the laughter echoes through the water slides” Boulder beach really is the perfect place to go on a hot summer day. I dare you to try to go down a water slide and NOT smile. It’s not possible!

“Adventure is out there, and I found it at Silverwood” If you have been to Silverwood, you understand the feeling of excitement brewing while walking through the underground tunnel that takes you to the park entrance. I don’t know what it is, but it really is the best feeling.

“I don’t always play chess, but when I do, it’s life sized and it’s at Silverwood” One of my favorite parts of Silverwood is that its not just rides and slides. There are plenty of other things to do at the park. For example, playing a game of chess.

“Adventures are better when they’re upside down” This roller coaster is a beast. This is Aftershock, and, if I’m honest, it absolutely terrifies me. But in a good way. As for my 11-year-old, he loves this ride!!

“Motherhood: doing scary things to help your kids be brave” I am no coward, but roller coasters are not my favorite. But what I will do is ride them with my kids to help them conquer their own fears. So, to roller coaster alley it is!

My name is Jessica. I’m a mom of two boys ages 9 and 11, and I’ve been married to my husband for nearly 14 years. In June of 2021 we decided to sell almost all of our belongings, buy a camper and some land, and move thousands of miles from anyone we knew to build our own family homestead.
