Favorite Silverwood Roller Coasters by Height – According to the Fowler Group Kids.

Disclosure: When I decided to write on this topic, I failed to recall that my lovely kids are on the shorter side – for now! Their dad is 6’1 and hit his growth spurt later in high school. So that may change. So, when looking at ages/heights – note that the child in your life may be able to ride the favorite rides a bit earlier than my own kiddos!  A few of my kids are anxiously awaiting their growth spurt to enjoy all the big rollercoasters at Silverwood!

6th Grade, 11 year old.

Height 56”

Favorite rollercoaster: Aftershock

Runner-Up: Stunt Pilot

Meet Harrison – my thrill seeker. He is the one that goes on all the rides as soon as height will allow – much to his parents’ dismay – especially when it requires a parent to join! Last year, he was devastated as his peers could go on his favorite ride, Aftershock, without him. I consoled a broken-hearted 5th grader at the time as he stated, “I have to wait a whole year to be able to ride this one.” Absolutely devastated. A whole year has passed, and Aftershock lived up to all his expectations and more. It is an extreme thrill ride that will keep even the highest thrill seekers satisfied!

3rd Grade

9 years old

Height 50”

Favorite rollercoaster: Tremors

Runner-Up: Timber Terror

Grayson has really rose to the occasion this year with many trips to Silverwood with friends. Whether peer pressure or a growing excitement for thrill, he loves rollercoaster alley. To sum up his favorite rollercoasters – “All the wooden ones, Mom.” Tremors, Timber Terror on repeat all summer long. Luckily, he is old enough to ride those on his own as it frees Mom and Dad to only have to do those rides once or twice a trip.

1st Grade

6 years old

Height 46”

Favorite Rollercoaster: Eagle Hunt

Runner-Up: Roaring Creek Log Flume

We all need one that is more cautious – just for mom’s sake. Ainsley has been that cautious one. But when I asked her favorite rollercoaster, she threw me for a curve ball when she stated the water coaster – Eagle Hunt – the newest attraction of Emerald Forest in Boulder Beach. And you know what, she is right! It is an amazing coaster with just the right amount of thrill, water and fun for all ages. But just a warning, there is no scenario where you only get a little wet on this ride. You will be drenched but it is so worth it!

Pre-K

4 years old

Height 42”

Favorite Rollercoaster: Krazy Koaster

Watch out world! Here comes Judson! When height requirements don’t stand in this boy’s way, he will be taking mom and dad on EVERY rollercoaster in the park. But for now, we are at Critter camp with him and will be enjoying Krazy Koaster on repeat. Yes, a parent is still to be accompanied at his height. But this one truly is a fun family favorite. This short spinning roller coaster has just the right amount of thrill and fun for the entire family at the beginning and end of every park visit.
