I have been going to Silverwood since I was a little kid. They once had real horses you could ride there. I love trian, old school and our favorite must go on before we go in park and leave park.

Nothing can fill the mommy-sized hole in their dear hearts: but their mom would want them to continue to live their lives, a small but fond, tradional part of which is the yearly adventures at Silverwood. We love silverwood! We go atleast once a year or try to. Our fav are the water rides and the Waterpark. The littles all time fav is the doggy ride and merry go around. Our family has enjoyed many trips over the years, our favorite was 2 years ago, when we rented an RV and stayed at the park. I enjoy renting a cabana and spending the day at the water park. The kids asked to duplicate that trip this year… And when kids want to spend time with the parents, it’s never a bad thing! How can you not say yes?

When the boys were younger we drove out there but they didn’t want to go in due to the Rollercoaster with the wood tracks sharing them. So I’ve never had the eoppprtunity to visit silverwood and look forward to visiting with my boys as men now, one already said, I don’t like Rollercoasters and his wife is looking forward to going.

Silverwood is our favorite yearly family trip including staying at the campground, I always went as a child and now I love carrying on the tradition of bringing my own children now every summer. We can’t wait for our camping trip at silverwood this august!
We save all of our change all year long to cash in for all the “goodies” we buy when we come to Silverwood! This year will be the first time for our oldest as he was adopted as a baby and moved to be with us and his little brothers after he turned 18!

I am looking forward to waking up each day and celebrating life that God gave me be thankful for the one you have because you never know when it’s not going to be yours anymore and I’m also thankful to be graduating from college next month I busted my butt over the past 3 years to get where I’m at and now I’m about to graduate with my special education I am excited and the reason for my excitement is I overcame a lot in the past 5 years I was an alcoholic didn’t care about anything really besides where my next drink was coming from but now I don’t drink I’ve been in school for 3 years going to graduate with my AAS degree and special education and possibly moving on to get my bachelors I always tell my kids you can do anything you put your mind to why not start now happy mother’s Day to all the beautiful mothers out there.
