I share all the details on my Instagram account @myhouseof8. We enjoy our adventures at Silverwood and am so excited to be teamed up with them.
Logan and Nate
We are Nathan & Logan, the married team behind, Pop Culture Northwest. We are pop culture collection curators and show off pop culture destinations in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Being kids at heart, it is important to us to keep nostalgia alive and to help pass it on to the next generation. We have three kids (6, 12, & 14) that we homeschool, so we find ways to enrich their lives through our experiences. We appreciate family time & thrills. Silverwood means a lot to us as it is the perfect mix of gorgeous scenery, yummy treats, and thrills for every level of excitement. We can’t wait to show you how we make memories in the park so you can do the same!!
Rochelle
Rochelle Durruthy is a California transplant in the great Pacific Northwest, living and exploring in Spokane Washington, she is a content creator for her lifestyle blog, when she isn’t busy creating content she’s helping her fiancé and his renovation business and chasing their two children around. Always ready to conquer a new adventure Rochelle and her family are excited to share all the fun things to do at Silverwood what with you all.
Hannah
Hi! I’m Hannah! I have a family of 4, hailing from all corners of the globe, we’ve traveled the world with our kids, and constantly encourage our children to try new things, and experience new things. Enjoying in the little details is just as important to us as enjoy life’s major milestones. We’ve recently moved to America from New Zealand. We have a passion for family, and encouraging family to spend time together. To truly be a unit. I lived 21 years in England, then 10 years in New Zealand, My husband Devin lived 18 years in South Africa, and then 18 years in New Zealand. Our kiddos were born and raised in New Zealand, and don’t ask us what our accents are. They just awkwardly change mid conversation to suit the subject for no apparent reason. We love food, family, and theme parks. So with Silverwood, it’s a match made in heaven!
Emily
We’re a full time RV family who spent the last year traveling the U.S. Now we’re back in the PNW with plans to run a cabinetry business in the summer and snowbird each winter. I’m a social media writer for a Seattle parenting magazine and we run our own social media businesses as well. I have 2 girls (4&6) who we homeschool. Our lifestyle leans towards experiences over things and intentional living. Make sure to check out our YouTube channel (Less Things Big Dreams) where we share our RV renovations and travels.
Dani
My name is Danielle Rice, and I am Ms. Wheelchair USA 2020-2021 (Ms. America for wheelchair users). I grew up in central Washington, and just like everyone else from central Washington, summer trips to Silverwood quickly became an iconic staple of my childhood. I am now 34 years old, a caregiver of 15 years, on the executive board of my union for caregivers, am happily married to my husband, Sam, and have a handsome six-year-old son, August. We currently live in the mountains above Asotin, WA, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University. The topics I cover are diverse, but include: self care, disability lifestyle, mental health, representation of people with disabilities in the media, being a wheelchair mom and wife, accessible travel, outdoor adventuring and thrill-seeking. Long before my SCI, my life was all about the outdoors, thrill seeking, adventuring, extreme sports and camping, and I know more than most that we’ve only got one life to live, so, for me, it is meant to be lived loud!
Jeff
Jeffrey Totey and his wife live in the greater Seattle area and is a freelance writer and owner of Writer of Pop Culture website which focuses on pop culture, movies, TV, theme parks and more.
Jen
Jen Dotson is the co-owner of Thrifty Northwest Mom with her business partner, Sia Hills, where she’s been blogging for over 12 years. She lives in the south Puget Sound area of Washington with her husband and 12 & 15-year-old daughters. She was a military kid who grew up living all over the US, but her favorite destination has always been the Northwest. She & her family love to travel & explore around the PNW & they love outdoor adventures such as hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, & more. She loves to share ways for families to make memories together exploring the beautiful PNW & all it has to offer!
Shaun
My name is Shaun Fisher and I absolutely love going to theme parks with my family. I’m an online Language Arts teacher and a father of 3 beautiful children. I started the website Park Padres so I could share my love of theme parks with others and give tips and advice when traveling with children. For me, a theme park is one of the best ways to have fun as a family!
Jackie
Hello! My name is Jackie. I am married to a handsome handyman, and I’m the proud momma of 5 kids. About 13 years ago, I started my photography business, Jax Creations Photography. A couple of years ago, I started a family website called Wanderful Memories. I use this site to share ways other families can document moments in life through travel and lifestyle. A fun fact about me is that I love to cook/bake for others, and I throw a great dance party in the kitchen (when no one is around to watch my awesome dance moves, of course)! There are many parts of Silverwood that I enjoy, but if I had to narrow it down, it would be riding the Tilt-a-Whirl with my boys. I love to hear them belly laugh! My family enjoys visit Silverwood multiple times during the summer with season passes — it is the perfect way to split up the summer days by visiting the water park or getting their adrenaline going on a roller coaster.
We hope that you are as excited as we are to welcome these Conductors, and to learn more about Silverwood through their eyes. Comment down below and let us know what you would like to read about this summer, and what you’re looking forward to the most!
